Co-production Report from Birmingham
Posted by Karen Cheney on 17th November 2010In late 2009 a piece of work around Co-production was commissioned as part of the Birmingham Community Asset Transfer Development Programme , funded by AWM.
The Report, written by Paul Slatter is entitled “Looking Sideways – A Community Asset Approach to Coproduction of Neighbourhoods and Neighbourhood Services in Birmingham”
Although written with a Birmingham context many of the insights and recommendations are relevant for all public agencies across the Region.
EVC is supporting Chamberlain Forum to build on this report and raise awareness of Co-production and its benefits other local areas within the West Midlands. In addition to local seminars, a regional event showcasing co production as an effective approach, with key speaker Edgar Khan, is taking place on 7 December.
