The aim of this work stream is to share information and opportunities for active citizens to participate in their local areas; enable citizens to participate in structural conversations about issues that matter to them, and take part in site visits to see the differences they can make and how they can influence projects and services in their communities. It will raise awareness of opportunities where social media can be used to promote, discuss and campaign on topics. It will provide opportunities for citizens and groups to learn how to use and test out social media tools.

Create opportunities where active citizens and public servants can discuss issues that affect them in a structured way to arrive at mutual understandings and joint conclusions.
